Large Gantry System for the inspection of Aircraft Wing Sections using squirters in a 'Through-Transmission' configuration with a toneburst pulser & remote pre-amplifier.

The unit features synchronized Z - Y axis. For more complex geometries, more controllable axis are required culminating in full robotic control for complex contour following.

Automated Pipe Testing System

Inspection of .4" to 2.5" diameter tubes up to 50' in length. Testing required detection of OD and ID flaws in both the longitudinal and circumferential direction, as well as thickness measurements along the length of the tube. Rejected areas are automatically marked to identify defects.
The tubes are rotated and fed through the test head at high speed. This style of system may also be used for on line dimensional and wall thickness measurement for production control.

Robotic Automated Testing Systems

The robotic system illustrated above is designed to inspect a section of the Delta rocket used for launching satellite systems.
